Clay Sanderson
THEATRE ARTIST AND EDUCATOR
Clay Sanderson is a Phoenix-based actor and theatre educator. A veteran of over forty professional stage productions, some of his favorite past roles include Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Antonio in The Merchant of Venice, The Poet in An Iliad, Mr. Banks in Mary Poppins, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Algernon in The Importance of Being Earnest, and Austin in True West.
He has served for many years at the drama teacher at Tempe Preparatory Academy, and has taught several classes as an instructor at Arizona State University, where he is writing his dissertation for a Ph.D. in Theatre. He holds an M.F.A. in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University.
