Teaching and Directing

I hold an M.F.A. in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago, as well as a B.A. in Theatre and English from Indiana University-Bloomington, and am currently a Ph.D. Theatre student at Arizona State University.

I am in my ninth year as the Drama teacher at Tempe Preparatory Academy, where I teach theatre to the 12th, 11th, and 6th grades and have directed The Pirates of Penzance, Carousel, My Fair Lady, Twelve Angry Men, Pride and Prejudice, and The Secret Garden, among others. During my four summers running the Southwest Shakespeare Company Summer Conservatory, I directed Julius Caesar, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Romeo and Juliet.

I love working with actors of all ages, and am available for various directing gigs as well as workshops, master classes, and monologue and dialect coaching.
